International ANDY Awards

Andy Awards Statue

The International ANDY Awards were established in 1964 by The ADVERTISING Club of New York. The goal of the competition is to honor creativity in advertising worldwide, recognize the contributions of individuals and companies who create the work, and to encourage raising the standards of craftsmanship in the industry.

Judged by a jury comprised of internationally renowned creative directors, awards are given to both single and campaign executions, distinguished by product, service or technique category. The ANDY Awards began as a New York print-only show that has evolved into an international show covering print, radio, television, out-of-home, direct mail, video/cinema, interactive and other media. ANDY award winners compete for the ANDY Awards' highest honor, The GRANDY. The GRANDY winner, in addition to gaining prominence within the industry, receives a cash prize of $50,000 and the Championship GRANDY Ring.

The ANDY Awards are one of the only not-for-profit award shows in the industry where proceeds go directly to The ADVERTISING Club Foundation to fund its education initiatives. The Foundation is committed to supporting and cultivating talent entering the advertising and marketing industry.

Glenn C. Smith Scholarship

Annually, we celebrate great advertising created by students from around the world with a $5,000 scholarship. Named for a past ANDY Chairman, Glenn C. Smith, this award is a tribute to someone who captured all the necessary ingredients for success and who demonstrated them with extraordinary spirit. The winning team (copywriter and art director) also has their work published in the ANDYs winners' annual.
